How we work

Architects, interior designers and visualisers work on the same model. What the architect resolves, the render shows and the website sells — nothing gets lost between contractors.
You talk to the people who do the work
One project manager from kick-off to launch, with the architects and the art director in the same conversation. No account managers in between.
Architects first
We read drawings the way an architect does: we check them, resolve what they leave open and ask the right questions before anything is rendered.
Five working languages
English, Latvian and Russian with developers in the Baltics; German and French for projects in Switzerland.

Bridge of meaning
From a visualisation studio to a development design studio
Essentials began as a visualisation studio: renders and animations that let developers, architects and investors sell a project before it is built — for clients across the EU, the UAE and the CIS.
Today the same team also designs the buildings and makes the tools to sell them: brand, website, apartment selector. That is what we mean by a development design studio.
Es sine qua non — Latin for “without which, nothing”: the one essential element without which the whole falls apart. We look for it in every project.

Riga
Studio and team
The whole team works from Riga. Most of our residential projects are in Latvia — from Pārdaugavas Kvartāls to New Hanza.
Switzerland
With partner architects
Together with partner studios such as A2S, we visualise projects in central Switzerland — church centres in Adligenswil and Neuenkirch, a bus terminal canopy in Schwyz.
Kazakhstan
Through Essentials KZ
Our partner company Essentials KZ, led by Olzhas Aripbay, brings our films and visuals to developers in Astana and Almaty.
